MôTif is a multimedia production company that supports and creates art projects, focusing on the underrepresented and the environment.
We have no limits on how to use art to show untold stories and make ideas come true. Our core goal is to explore solutions and help in the fight to decimate racism, bigotry, poverty, sexism, and climate change through art.
WHAT WE DO
When people get isolated, amazing things happen. Thoughts seem to get louder and clearer. When people manage to get together despite distance, amazing things happen too. Like this series of short films. Pandemos, meaning “common to all people” is a collaborative pro-bono project based on an idea by Diego Medvedocky and Luis Aguer, a writer and a film director. Together they imagined a string of episodes depicting the inner world of different characters around the globe, separated in context, culture, lifestyle and age, but connected by one thing: being humans afflicted by the social distancing consequence of Covid-19.
Hurt aims to capture a moment of almost total freedom to represent a woman's longing for her lost innocence after a heartbreaking experience. In an attempt to release the pain of a broken heart, she longs for a time when she was young and innocent.
PueblA it’s a series of art projects likewise film, theater, visual arts and performance related to the female life in small cities and villages in the countryside of Brazil.
